Specializing in a multitude of segments related to digital printing, including signs and graphics, flexible packaging, and pressure sensitive labels, Arrow Systems, Inc. has concentrated its recent efforts on improving efficiency and productivity with the implementation of new technologies, designed to positively disrupt the traditional workflow of digital print production. The Arrow Jet Aqua 330R has been released in partnership with Colordyne Technologies to provide the market with a fast, easy, and cost-effective solution for commercial label printing. Brand owners and printers can now enter into high volume printing without the costs and expertise that are required by many other current technologies.

Utilizing a new water based, pigment inkjet technology, the high speed ArrowJet Aqua 330R boasts up to 1600 x 1600 dpi print resolution, and speeds up to 150 fpm with an impressive color gamut. The new digital printer is compatible with pressure sensitive label substrates, tag stocks and flexible packaging materials, giving commercial printers the needed flexibility for different markets.

The ArrowJet Aqua 330R uses a stationary 13” waterfall printhead allowing for high speed, single pass operation. Unlike UV presses with high capital costs, expensive components and large footprints, the ArrowJet Aqua 330R gives commercial printers all the same benefits of larger presses without the high barriers of entry. The intuitive design and robust components used in the ArrowJet Aqua 330R were built to make production fast and seamless. Plus, the short web path and open face roll loading allow for fast and easy material changes, minimal waste, and more run time. Equipped with an automated web guide, IR drier for difficult substrates, proprietary RIP software and user interface, the Arrowjet Aqua 330R is equipped with all the essential features for high speed professional printing. The ArrowJet can be paired with a number of finishing options, both inline and off-line.

Using an aqueous pigmented ink allows for an increased water, chemical, abrasion, and UV fade resistance. In addition, the aqueous solution allows for a wider range of applications such as food and beverage labeling, flexible packaging, PS labels, tags, stickers and more.
